Amazon.com Review
This is a reconditioned power tool. Reconditioned generally means that the tool has been returned to the manufacturer, who brings the tool back to like new condition. Some tools may contain cosmetic blemishes.
The first time you pick up the Bostitch N62FNK-2, you might wonder if such a lightweight finish nailer (it weighs just 3.8 pounds, the lightest in its class) can really get the job done. But once you pull the trigger and feel the 400 in./lbs. of driving power at your fingertips, those doubts will disappear and you’ll wonder how you ever did without it before. Rugged and sturdy enough for virtually any application, the N62FNK-2 delivers fast, clean, accurate results using finish nails from 1 to 2-1/2 inches in length. An oil-free engine means no unsightly stains on your work–a definite plus–and no need for messy lubrication, an even bigger positive. Tool-free maintenance and depth control only add to the allure. — Carl Thress

I purchased this nail gun recently and was pleasantly surprised when I received it. The condition of the nailer was really good, you could tell it wasn’t brand new as some slight touch up had been done to the black areas of the paint otherwise, you would be hard pressed to distinguish the gun from a new one. After receiving it, I fired up my compressor and ran about 50 or so nails through it to make sure it worked well and to see how easy it was to adjust the drive depth. I had no problems getting the gun to countersink 2″ nails in oak.
Just a heads up, the description lists additional tips and hex wrenches as being included however, I did not receive any and do not see these items listed by other vendors in their description of the item. I suspect this is a minor oversight by Amazon.
I prefer to buy new when possible however, when the price is significantly cheaper, there is a promo code, and the warranty is good, there is no reason not to consider purchasing this gun reconditioned.
