This Porter-Cable 18-gauge, 1-1/4-inch brad nailer shoots standard brads from 5/8 to 1-1/4 inches long. The gun’s die-cast aluminum body is lightweight but strong, and the handle is comfortable to hold, even over long periods of time. The quick-release nosepiece lets you clear jams quickly and easily. Features include a special hardened driver blade, a sequential fire trigger, a visual reload indicator, a safety that’s located behind the driver guide for driving brads in tight spaces, an easy-to-adjust depth guide, a directional exhaust port, and a removable rubber nose. The kit comes with a 1/4-inch male coupler, a rugged plastic carrying case, 1,000 brads, and oil for the nailer. –Jonathon Tudor

Porter-Cable BN125A 5/8-Inch to 1-1/4-Inch 18 Gauge Brad Nailer has been rated 5 starsI feel like Norm!!!

I ordered my brad nailer to save time on glue ups. When I was a kid in wood shop, my teacher used to criticize Norm for gluing, and nailing. I understand now why Norm does it. It basically frees you up in order to continue working, instead of all the down dry time!! Not to mention that tacking a part with a brad, so you can use the other hand to even tighten a clamp. n
I was concerned to read that P/C tells you to only use P/C nails in their owners manual, after I had bought some B&C nails, but no problems, it fires them also!!! I am very satisfied with my brad nailer, and of course Amazon. Keep up the great customer service!!!

Porter-Cable BN125A 5/8-Inch to 1-1/4-Inch 18 Gauge Brad Nailer has been rated 4 starsBest Porter Cable nailer (not a compliment)

Brad nailers must be the easiest guns to manufacture because the rest of PC’s guns are unrefined. The brad nailer fires very smooth shots and never jams. I find myself using it for sensitive crown mouldings and casing on the jamb side. PC’s finish nailer and framing guns are rough and aggressive which makes it easy to damage your project. This brad nailer is a good gun for its price. I recommend stepping up to the gun that can fire up to 2″ pins. You’ll probably finding yourself limited with 1.25″ pins.

Porter-Cable BN125A 5/8-Inch to 1-1/4-Inch 18 Gauge Brad Nailer has been rated 5 starsBest Light Weight Nailer

Had bought a bargain nailer for doing trimwork around the house. It kept jamming and finally gavwe up the ghost. Price buyers are twice buyers! I didn’t want to spend alot to be disappointed again. I wasn’t. This nailer is smooth and easy to operate. Only drawback is the max length of the nails is 1 1/4″.

I have owned this tool for about 3 years. During this time I have used it to build furniture, install various sizes of trims and mouldings, and construct a number of craft projects.n

This is an exceptional tool, I have shot thousands of brad nails with it and it has never once jammed or failed to perform perfectly. If you have no need to shoot brad nails longer than 1.25″, this nailer is perfect. Aside from this nailer I own several other Porter-Cable pneumatic nailers and have been very pleased with all of them.

Porter-Cable BN125A 5/8-Inch to 1-1/4-Inch 18 Gauge Brad Nailer has been rated 5 starsOlder Cousin is a Great Nailer

I have owned the earlier version of this nailer for about 9 years and it is a good machine. I looked at the owner’s manual for the BN125A and it appears to be nearly identical to mine. I bought it to do a basement finish and have subsequently used it for several furniture projects, finishing our son’s new house, our daughter’s closet cabinets and other jobs. After thousands of nails of varying lengths, I could probably count the number of misfires on one set of fingers. The only wear seems to be a little less depth adjustment. I would buy another.
