Amazon.com Product Description

Power electronics, small appliances. When storm emergencies hit, it’s good to have electricity, light, and a radio. It’s even better to have all those things together in one place and easy to find when the lights go out. Black & Decker gives you all the emergency essentials in one handy StormStation.

How it Works
This portable unit is equipped with a weather radio, power inverter, and detachable flashlight. When the power goes out, the StormStation’s “Find Me” light automatically turns on. Use its 25-watt inverter to power small, essential appliances, like a clock or a cordless phone to keep lines of communication open. Or charge your cell phone via the 12-volt recharging port.

Tune in news on the unit’s radio.Listen to the built-in radio to stay informed about civil and natural emergencies–it tunes in AM, FM, TV1, TV2, and weather frequencies. Or remove the flashlight to help see in your darkened home.

All of these features run off the StormStation’s 12-volt rechargeable battery. To be prepared for a power outage, keep the StormStation plugged in to an electrical outlet for a full charge.

The StormStation is covered by a two-year warranty from Black & Decker.

Black & Decker StormStation All-In-One Rechargeable Power Source/Radio/Light #SS925 has been rated 5 starsBlack & Decker StormStation

I have one of these bought it about 3 years ago, finally got to use it during a 3 day power outage. I was very impressed, never lost its charge, I had radio, cell phone, light as well as using the plug for charging phone and plugging in a lamp. Bought two more for my daughters for anniversary gifts. I recommend this as a gift or for your self. Almost forgot there is a flashlight (very bright) independent of unit that is always charged and ready to go.

Black & Decker StormStation All-In-One Rechargeable Power Source/Radio/Light #SS925 has been rated 5 stars A lot of Bang for the buck!

I live in FL and picked this up at one of those discount houses for cheap money before the storms show up this season and impressed the daylights out of me. Does everything it is reported to do and was nervous about the radio functions after reading the reviews on here but there isn’t any problems here; the weather setting gets three stations and all the all functions work great on the radio and the speaker can really be cranked on this baby. Flash light works great and can wait to use the charger on my cell phones. This is a very well built peice of equipment and it is rugged which is what you want. The light on this is fine to boot too! Go out and grab one of these especially if you live in FL, you will be happy that you did!

Black & Decker StormStation All-In-One Rechargeable Power Source/Radio/Light #SS925 has been rated 4 starsCompact and Convenient

The Black & Decker StormStation is compact and convenient to use. The instructions are easy enough to understand and the whole idea is a good one.

I was a little disappointed in the light weight plastic that was used in producing the product. If there were no other flashlights available to use in the event of a power outage and the StormStation were accidentally knocked over onto a hard surface, I’m pretty sure that it would crack.

Other than that, the combo weather radio/tv station receiver is great. Having the ability to plug in your cell phone into either an A/C outlet or a car charger is also a good idea. If you want to run a lamp and listen to the radio/tv receiver that works too.

Overall, I’m pleased with the product. I gave it as a gift to my mother so that she would have her own little generator that can be used indoors.Black & Decker StormStation All-In-One Rechargeable Power Source/Radio/Light #SS925

Black & Decker StormStation All-In-One Rechargeable Power Source/Radio/Light #SS925 has been rated 4 starsPretty good, not perfect

My parents are in their 80′s and sometimes experience temporary power outages. I needed something for them to have until I could get over there as I live about 10 minutes away. I did a lot of research on the internet and I really could not find what I wanted. This was closest item to that without buying a small gas powered generator. I looked at the Xantrexs, and some similar makes but these all had jumper cables and tire inflators. I was hesitant to buy the StormStaion because of the mixed reviews.

The unit arrived in good shape and after some minor assembly everything worked fine. I checked the charge of the flash light over the next several days and it provided, crisp bright light. The back up power light works nicely also and is bright. We keep the unit always plugged in so my parents can find it if the power goes off in the dark. The radio works really well for us also. The inverter worked when I tested it also.

I just wish the inverter was more than 25 watts. Some of these units have as much as a 200 watt inverter. This would be better for plugging in a lamp, etc. in the event of a power outage. When I was looking the Dura Cell Powerpack 600 was not available. I would have considered this with 600 whopping watts of power. All in all, I am happy with the unit and its features.
