I just bought this item and I am unsatisfied

I just bought this product and I received it today in the mail. Before I bought it I was on the phone with an Amazon person that helped me figure out what I needed which was an inverter that could be plugged into the lighter of my car, but sadly as I just opened the box it has two wires that would be plugged into a battery. I do not want to deal with this!! That is why I bought one to be plugged into the lighter!!! Very upset about this. The guy on the line assured me that this came with a lighter function and I would not have to deal with a battery!! Geezee now what I have to send it back??n

I was looking for a way to run my home stereo receiver and two 12″ speakers while tailgating at football games. This is perfect…I hook it up to an extra car battery and bam! *Instant Beats* This would also be great for camping or boating. n
***I read the negative reviews before I bought…this item does not come with a “cigarette lighter” adapter. It only has clamps that hook directly to the battery terminals, the CPI 475 has both connecters but can only handle half the Watts.***
