Amazon.com Product Description
Thanks to the clever folks at Bench Dog Tools, woodworkers everywhere can now enjoy the speed and precision of stationary routing without having to buy or build a router table. The 40-031 ProMax Router Table Extension bolts directly to the edge of most 10-inch table saws, thus providing a flat, rock-solid platform for mounting a router.
The roomy cast-iron extension measures 16 inches wide by 27 inches long, and comes with a durable phenolic insert plate for mounting the router, and a smooth-sliding fence. The table has an adjustable miter gauge T-slot and an accessory slot that accepts featherboards and other accessories. The fence has adjustable sub-fences, a dust-collection port for attaching a vacuum hose, and two integral jointer settings (1/32 inch and 1/16 inch) for jointing board edges perfectly straight. When not in use, the fence can be removed and hung on two hooks beneath the extension table, or left in place and used when cutting on the table saw. — Joseph Truini

Just installed this on a Delta contractor saw, it installed very easily and fits surprisingly well. I managed to install it myself by putting a scissor jack under it while I got the bolts started. The fit and finish are excellent and there is virtually no vibration during use.
Its not cheap, but with this table I don’t have an extra router table sitting around taking up space, it doesn’t have to be clamped down like a small router table, and doesn’t budge when working on it. Its at the perfect height, unlike a router table clamped to a benchtop.
The only downside I see is that I can’t pick it up and take it outside on a pretty day if I’m making a lot of moldings, but I can live with that.
I just installed the Bench Dog ProMax on my Jet contractor’s saw and it fits like it was made for the saw. It’s fairly heavy and you should definitely have two people to install it, but everything is first-class quality. I work out of my garage, so I really appreciate the space I’m saving by having the router table built into my table saw. It is a bit expensive, but I’m amazed how expensive flimsy looking separate router tables are. At least this is cast iron, and best of all — it’s made in the U.S.
Great product.
I’m a beginning/intermediate woodworker and this was an incredibly easy product to install, set up and get working. Had it out of the box and working in a couple of hours. The documentation is pretty good and installation was a breeze. I’d highly recommend it…really saved me some space and increased my shop’s capability
It was a pleasure to put together an American product that was well machined (cast iron). Everything fit without problems. I used it on my Jet “Super Saw” to reduce the tool footprint in my shop.
Look at all of the 5 stars reviews! This is a really great tool. I don’t have much to add, although I will say that I was able to install this on my little Delta TS300 saw which only has a 22 inch width. I had to drill 2 holes, but anyone with mechanical skills can do this easily. I was able to install it by myself, but it is heavy and if you have someone to give you a hand, I would use their help.
