These are so easy to install and work alot better than your average belts. I use them on most of my machines.
I installed the Power Twist V-Belt on my Delta Model 10 Contractor table saw. The saw runs quieter and smoother. Very noticeable improvement in the saws performance. Worth the money
I must agree with all of the positive reviews here. This belt works great! I am using it on a Delta 36-979 saw that had a definite rumble prior to using this belt. After switching the rumble completely disappeared and, yes, my saw also passed the standing penny test (yes penny, not just nickle). The overall sound level from the machine rose slightly from about 72db to 74db. This is due to a higher pitched whine that this belt makes.
Overall I am very pleased and will be making use of these belts elsewhere in my shop! I just wish they weren’t 6 bucks a foot!
For several months I read about link belts in woodworking publications and blogs with a certain amount of reserve, thinking how could something like this actually reduce vibration. I finally ordered one and easily installed it on my table saw. The difference was remarkable. The noise level was reduced by at least half and the vibration was virtually eliminated. The belt did stretch and “settle-in” over the next few weeks. I had to remove a link per week for a couple of weeks until it now seems to be stable. I would highly recommend this for belt driven table saws.
I received my PowerTwist Plus V-Belts and have installed one of them on my 6 inch sander. It was very easy to install and took out all of the belt vibration. I also have had one on my table saw for several years and the results are the same. Very good product and easy to install.
