Black & Decker Alligator Lopper 4.5 Amp Electric Chain Saw #LP1000 has been rated 5 starsIt really works as claimed!

After getting frustrated with the chain of a chain saw slipping repeatedly when I was trying to cut up a large pile of tree branches, I paid Amazon a visit and found this interesting contraption. I was skeptical but the reviews were glowing and I was desperate so I ordered one. When it arrived, still skeptical, I plugged it in and went to work and I am skeptical no more.

This unassuming-looking saw solves several problems at once – it is a lot less risky than a chainsaw and a lot more efficient and easier to use. You can cut the branches as they are without having to prop them up on a support which is enormously time saving.

This saw is somewhere between revolutionary and evolutionary. Highly recommended.

Black & Decker Alligator Lopper 4.5 Amp Electric Chain Saw #LP1000 has been rated 5 starsAlligator Lopper is terrific!

Whether you’re one of those ladies whose husbands won’t let you touch ‘their’ power tools (and yet, you can’t get them to clean up the yard themselves) or you’re a man who just hates having to dig out the chainsaw for a small job, you’ll LOVE this lopper! It is able to cut down close to the ground, so you don’t have pesky stumps sticking up when you’re done. And it can EASILY cut trees and limbs that are bigger around than a 16 ounce coke bottle. If you can get the jaws around it, it will cut it with no problem. It’s lightweight, so it’s able to be handled well by someone even if they aren’t really strong. And its jaws work under their own power, so you don’t have to push or pull on it like you do a chainsaw. I love mine and won’t let my husband use it! Revenge!

Black & Decker Alligator Lopper 4.5 Amp Electric Chain Saw #LP1000 has been rated 5 starsGreat Device

The B&D Alligator Lopper is an excellent little machine. Works wonderfully well without the “Scare Factor” of regular chainsaws. I have used it extensively for over a year without any problems.

Black & Decker Alligator Lopper 4.5 Amp Electric Chain Saw #LP1000 has been rated 5 starsNice, relatively safe chainsaw

I got this last year despite the fact I only have a couple trees on my property. Dad pitched in half the $$ and uses it, and I use it for my neighbors. It’s pretty nice! Very easy to use, and very safe. It cuts quick and works for up to 4 or 5 inch branches. I trimmed out my maple out front and every year I clean up my spruce. Too bad I don’t have more trees! That’s the only thing I would caution: Once you trim your trees, you won’t have use for this anymore! You might consider going in on this with a neighbor or a family member – or else just borrow someone’s chainsaw. If you think you will need it for light duty or medium duty work, it’s pretty nice.

Black & Decker Alligator Lopper 4.5 Amp Electric Chain Saw #LP1000 has been rated 5 starsA great product

I used my Alligator Lopper for the first time today and love it. I was surprised at the ease of operation and that it would cut limbs up to 5″ in diameter (I think it only recommends 4″ though.) After renting a chain saw last year and as a 52yr old woman having trouble starting it I found the Alligator to be perfect to cut down shrubbery and bushes that had thick limbs. My 22yr old nephew stopped by and I showed it to him and he liked it but would prefer a gas powered or rechargable type for the woods. It is ideal for smaller jobs and is a great product for women to use easily.
