Stanley- FatMax is the best sawhorse I have owned. Very sturdy and being adjustable for eneven ground is very good. I would buy this product again.
Having looked at several light weight sawhorses after having had one heavy mteal pair, I selected these because of their adjustable height feature. They are light-weight, easily transported without sacrificing any strength, and store compactly.
This is an excellent product. They are strong and well suited for either flat or uneven surfaces. Because they fold flat, they are easy to move about. A very good feature is the slot for a 2X4. I built a 2 foot wide by 4 foot long table, with 2X4 base and it is really handy for an auxilliary work bench.
I bought a pair of these based on a review in the Journal of Light Construction. I was skeptical at first but after using them for 3 mos., I went out and bought another pair. Hands down, they are the best saw horse out there. With a pair of 2×4′s and a piece of plywood, they can be set up virtually any where and they WILL hold up THOUSANDS of pounds. I’m not joking. Find another saw horse that can do that!
Add to that, they are lighter than any other sawhorses I have used, they will not rust, they fold flat and adjust to uneven ground in seconds. All w/o tools. No screws, nails, wrenches or hammers needed to set them up or store them. Beat that!
We bought these for our son, who designs and builds furniture. He is very pleased with these sawhorses, saying they are very sturdy and well suited for his business.
